ABOUT US
Estates and Testamentary Services was established in 2011. Our core business is to provide a personalized customer service and high-quality output on a National basis in the drafting of Wills, Deceased Estates and Testamentary Trusts, therefore making the drafting of Wills and Estates process as hassle-free as possible.
Our Head Office is based in Durban, South Africa. We have an office in Cape Town, South Africa, and in London – allowing us to operate nationally and internationally.
DENISE WILLIAMS
Managing Director
Denise is a qualified Trust and Estates Specialist (Dip.Dep) (UNISA). She has been working in the administration of the Estates field for over 47 years and has a large client base.
Denise has a personal working relationship with the Master’s offices nationally, which aids in speeding up the estate administration process. We operate a fast-track service in obtaining the appointments.

- The FREE drafting of Wills, both local and foreign – provided we are the nominated Executors;
- FREE drafting of Living Wills;
- FREE safe custody of Wills;
- No annual holding fee;
- An Estates department and Testamentary Trust division in which the Estates are followed up on a daily basis if necessary;
- The appointment of a qualified Executor – contractually bound by the Regulations as laid down by the Law Society and Masters Office;
- Commitment to lower overall Executors Fees and administration costs;
- A very personal one-on-one consultation with the Testator / Testatrix followed by our personal services to spouses, beneficiaries etc. No call centres!
- Encourage family participation as a Co-Executor / Co-Trustee;
- A superb track record of “in time” completion of Estates;
- A good turnaround time from taking instructions to finalisation of the Wills / Estates.
FEES
Our Wills and Living Wills are FREE. When a Will then turns into an Estate, we charge the set legal tariff (currently 3.5% excl. VAT). This is the same fee that you are going to be charged everywhere else, as it’s the set legal tariff for estates. Where our fee will be less is that we, unlike other institutions, don’t take a fee on your personal items, and where we can, we will use values that bring your executors fee down, e.g. municipal values of properties as opposed to market values.
